A little over a year ago, I was living in the city and was looking for some ways to decorate my home and myself.
My husband had moved to the area from Texas a few years earlier, and I was excited to get to live in a new city.
I had been spending a lot of time looking for ways to incorporate different materials into my home, and it wasn’t long before I came across a couple of DIY fall decorations that I was pretty impressed with.
The materials are pretty standard, and the fall colors are quite beautiful.
I’m not going to lie: there’s something about seeing all of these colors and patterns on a piece of paper that makes me feel good about decorating my home.
Theres also a little something special about decorators doing fall colorwork that you can see on the pictures below.
This particular fall color work is actually inspired by a favorite fall decoration I saw at my local flea market.
The inspiration is not too far off, as it looks like the color is inspired by the butterfly patterns on paper.
I know it’s not the prettiest fall color I could have made, but its such a beautiful way to add some texture to the house that I think you’ll love it!
I love that the butterflies are all made out of paper, which I love as I can easily peel off my paper paper and re-use it for other things.
It really is a simple way to create some fun, beautiful fall patterns.
The finished products look really good on the shelves and will definitely be part of my decorating repertoire!
The only problem is that I only have one of the pieces on my shelves that are designed for fall colors, so Ive been trying to find a new color that works for the decor.
My husband is excited about all of the decorations that are coming out of this fall, and he is going to be making them himself as soon as I get some more time to get all the pieces together.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial as much as I enjoyed making it.
